Dr Smith grew up in Mesa, AZ, graduated from Westwood High School, and completed his undergraduate degree at Arizona State University. He earned his DMD from Roseman University of Health Sciences in South Jordan, Utah, and returned to Arizona as a general dentist where he worked for 5 years. It was during that time as a general dentist that he grew a passion for endodontics and ultimately decided to return for further training. Dr Smith completed his endodontic training at the University of Detroit Mercy where he also earned a Master of Science degree.
When he’s not at the office, Dr Smith loves to spend time with his wife, Carli, and their two boys, Harry and Sonny. He also enjoys anything active or related to sports, as well as challenging himself with obstacle course races and half marathons.
